She was there. Sitting on a green velvet chair, her hands were rubbing together as her elbows were resting on her knees. A wide black speaker lays on the ground like a disk, with a pot of ferns next to it. The three were enveloped by a small crowd gathered at San Mei Gallery, 20 minutes walk away from Denmark Hill train station. I found myself staring at the pink plastic goldfish toy bouncing violently in the speaker, pushed off to the air by the bass frequencies.
